Students will demonstrate an understanding of the printmaking process through the creation of a print showing a unique side of them.
The Unexpected You
Whats unique about you? What sets you apart from the students sitting next to you? What is something you would want to share with others? for this project you are going to pick one thing about yourself that sets you apart from other people. Find a creative visual way to express/share this concept. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 REFERENCE IMAGES TO WORK FROM FOR THIS PROJECT.
For this project we will be trying printmaking out for the first time. The surface we will be carving into is linoleum. With this process we will be able to make many copies of your drawing. Remember if you are using text you will need to write the text backwards because the final will be a mirror image of the linoleum block.
