Students demonstrate an understanding of how to plan and build a 3d model out of clay showing a chosen theme.
John Brickels Lowell Massachusetts Artist John Brickels has been creating stoneware clay sculptures for over 30 years. His ceramic art ranges from architecturally themed sculptures, machines, life size robots and vintage pedal car bodies retrofitted with ceramic mechanicals. His work is created from slab and extruded stoneware clay. Requirements: Must have a photo of a building you are inspired by to work off of. Must have a theme or story. Must be atlas ten inches in all directions. Options for building: Slab, Coil, wheel thrown parts.
